Shipping & Returns Policies

All of our customers enjoy fast and reliable shipping. The Faint Hearted offers free ground shipping for all U.S. orders over $50 and international orders over $150.

Please read the following and note there may be delays in shipments.

We try to ship as much as we can from our retail location. In the case the item is not available at our retail location, we will have to prepare the item for you. Our current production time to make an item for you is 5-7 business days. Nameplates and custom orders currently have a production time of 10-14 business days, although during holidays this can extend to 21 business days.

Although we try to get them out sooner, please keep in mind that depending on order volume, we may need the entire time to produce. Production time is not inclusive of shipping times.

We have removed expedited shipping due to frequent delays since COVID has started. Should you need the item sooner, please email info@thefainthearted.com to discuss delivery options.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Orders are expected to arrive within 3-7 days of shipment. We request that you allow additional time for an order should there be any major holidays. 

Expedited shipping is available upon request for an additional charge. Please keep in mind this does not expedite processing/production times only transit times

Hawaii, Alaska & Puerto Rico have an expected delivery time of 6-10 business days. Currently, we do not offer 2nd Day or Next Day Air for these destinations.

Additional shipping fees may apply for all other locations including, but not limited to: PO Boxes and APO/FPO locations.

Should you refuse to accept the package and it is returned to us, we will issue a refund for the merchandise less the shipping fees. If you received free shipping, we will deduct an additional $3.95 for the original shipping fees. 

If your parcel receives an "arriving late" update from USPS, it can take up to 4-6 week weeks to arrive. This typically means there is an issue with logistics and/or COVID outbreak within your city's distribution center. A replacement item will not be sent unless 30 days have passed, but we will do our due diligence to retrieve the item.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

The Faint Hearted ships worldwide via USPS First Class Airmail. Delivery time varies depending on each country, however, it should take anywhere between 1-4 weeks to arrive. On rare occasions, a package may be held up in customs, making delivery time a bit longer. USPS First Class Airmail offers partial tracking depending on the country the package is shipped to. 

The Faint Hearted is not responsible for any customs, import duties, brokerage fees, and taxes incurred on the package. These potential charges are not included in the stated item prices of our jewelry or shipping charges. It is required by law that we declare the accurate value of your package. We will not adjust the value of the order to decrease import fees. It is important to note that it is at the custom's agent discretion to release your package.

UK Customers: Please be advised there may be a 20% VAT on your order as well as processing fees.

Should you refuse to accept the package and it is returned to us, we will issue a refund for the merchandise less the shipping and import fees. If you received free shipping, we will deduct an additional $14.95 for the original shipping fees. If the total shipping and import fees exceed the value of the order, we will abandon the package and you will not be refunded.

International parcels are insured. Should the item get lost in transit, we can submit a claim once 40 days have passed so that you may choose to have a replacement sent or be refunded.

ONLINE RETURNS

If you are unsatisfied with your order and would like to return all or part of your order, please contact info@thefainthearted.com  to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and a delivery instructions. If you return an item without and RA, the package will be refused. 

The Faint Hearted will accept any returns for a refund or store credit if the items are returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in the same condition they were received. Merchandise must be unworn and free of any alterations and/or damages. Merchandise must have all tags attached in their original condition. If returns to not meet these requirements, you will be contacted immediately and the items will be returned. 

If you live within the Los Angeles vicinity, you can return your order at our retail location.

Engraved and customized items are final sale. No exceptions will be made.

Original shipping & handling fees are non-refundable. There will be a $3.99 charge if you use a return label provided by us or if you had originally received free shipping.

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen packages and therefore recommend you provide a secured mailing address. 

Final Sale items are non-refundable. Allergies and sensitivity due to wear do not qualify for returns. Please see details about allergies and sensitivities below.

Our jewelry goes through thorough quality control procedures, however, if you find that an item that was shipped to you is damaged, please contact info@thefainthearted.com within 3 days of receipt. The Faint Hearted is not responsible for damages caused by misuse and/or negligence. 

Returns will be made to the original form of payment and you will be notified via email. Please allow us approximately 4-7 business days after the package to arrive to process a return.

ONLINE EXCHANGES

At this given moment, we cannot facilitate exchanges if items are sent via mail and we do require that items be returned for a refund.

If you are in the Los Angeles vicinity, exchanges can be made at our retail location.

If you received an item but feel that you would like another size, color or style please send us an email to info@thefainthearted.com within 14 days of receipt. We will be more than happy to accommodate your request and hold the item as long as what you would like is in stock.

IN-STORE PURCHASE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

The Faint Hearted will accept returns at our retail location for store credit or exchange only within 14 days of purchase. Items must be returned in the same condition they were received. Merchandise must be unworn and free of any alterations and/or damages. Merchandise must have all tags attached in their original condition. If returns to not meet these requirements, we will not be able to issue a refund.

Engraved and customized items are final sale. Due to hygiene regulations, earrings are deemed final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. No exceptions will be made.

Final Sale items are non-refundable. Allergies and sensitivity due to wear do not qualify for returns. Please see details about allergies and sensitivities below.

WAREHOUSE SALE - 40% OFF

Items purchased during our warehouse sale are FINAL SALE. No returns and no exchanges. No exceptions will be made. Warehouse sale excludes Sale items, Gift cards, handchains, nameplates, initial necklaces, permanent jewelry and restoration.

SENSITIVITY TO JEWELRY

Please be aware it is your responsibility to know what metals your skin is sensitive and/or allergic to. Most of our jewelry is made of brass and other metals. Our jewelry is *not* hypoallergenic. If your skin is sensitive to metals, please contact info@thefainthearted.com before purchasing. We will be more than happy to assist you with any questions you have regarding our metals. 

If you find you are sensitive to our jewelry, please remove them immediately and stop wearing the pieces.

HOLIDAY AND CHRISTMAS SHIPPING

Our shipping polices remain the same for holiday shipping. Although we are prepared for larger volume, please keep in mind all products are made especially for you. We cannot expedite production unless prior arrangements have been made and approved. 

Custom and Engraved items are non refundable. 

It is also important to note that priority shipping does not expedite production time, only the shipping time.
